Mobile home

Since mobile homes do not have basements, they need a sturdy and stable foundation to rest on.
Screw piles represent both a solid and durable solution.

Stability and solidity

Installed under the ground’s frost line and held in place by helix plates, our piles are unaffected by ground movements due to spring thaw, which means that your home is safely supported. Moreover, the piles can be installed in any soil type and whatever the environmental constraints!

Thanks to our specialized equipment, we will be able to remove your screw pile foundation and relocate it to another place if you ever need to move your mobile home.

Quick and easy installation

The number, size and placement of the piles will depend on the type of structure and its weight. Pro Post’s technical team will also take into account the type of soil in order to determine the type and number of piles to be installed. We offer piles ranging in diameter between 1 ⅞ and 6 ⅝ inches equipped with helix plates anywhere from 8 to 36 inches in size. To learn more about the product, please refer to the technical data sheets.

Screw piles could allow you to forgo excavation work altogether, and the machinery we use is much lighter than that necessary to put up traditional concrete foundations. Our Kubota mini-tractor is equipped with lawn tires that will not damage your property, contrary to the heavy machinery required for regular foundations. Our equipment is also capable of circulating and functioning in very tight spots.

You will be ready to install your mobile home as soon as the piles have been driven into the ground. No additional delays required! Make sure, however to provide adequate insulation to your mobile home’s floor since its underside will be exposed to the elements.

Our Piles

Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
