Garden shed

Whether yours is a prefab or a custom-built structure, your shed must be supported by solid foundations! Since they reach all the way down below the frost line, screw piles will provide a durable foundation for your shed, and they can be installed in any soil type and whatever the environmental constraints!

Stability and solidity

Screw piles can easily support even the biggest and the most heavily crammed storage space! They resist heavy loads of snow and are impervious to the effects of water logged soils come spring thaw. By using screw pile foundations instead of the traditional concrete blocks, you will prevent your structure from slumping and losing its stability.

Quick and easy installation

The number, size and placement of piles required for your project will depend on the projected structure and its weight. An engineer will also determine what type of pile to use according to the scope of your project and the type of soil. We offer piles ranging in diameter between 1 ⅞ and 6 ⅝ inches equipped with helix plates anywhere from 8 to 36 inches in size. To learn more about the product, please refer to the technical data sheets.

Screw piles are installed with small machinery and require much less work than traditional concrete foundations. No excavation work required! Furthermore, compared to the heavy machinery required to pour concrete foundations, our Kubota mini‑tractor equipped with lawn tires will not damage your entry nor your property. Our equipment can navigate very tight spaces, which means that our installers can easily drive in piles close to existing structures.

Once the work is done, you will be able to get on with the joist and beam installation without any further delay!

Our Piles

Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
