Patio

Piles are the best way to ensure the long term and precise leveling of your patio or terrace.
The winter season can greatly affect a structure set on concrete piles since frost and thaw can displace the piles and they may not always return to their original position. Overtime, the structure could require costly remedial interventions.

Stability and solidity

Screw piles are an effective solution to keep your patio leveled for years to come. Set below the ground’s frost line, the piles are unaffected by ground movements and therefore provide you with a sturdy structure that will resist temperature fluctuations. The helix plate at the bottom of the pile shaft solidly anchors the pile in the ground and prevents any movement.

Quick and easy installation

The number of piles you will need for your project will depend on the projected structure and its weight. If you wish to add a spa or any other heavy addition to your patio, this will also have to be taken into consideration. Pro Post Foundations offers the services of an in-house engineer to help precisely determine the number, size and type of piles to use according the projected structure and the type of soil. You will have several possibilities to choose from! We offer piles ranging in diameter between 1 ⅞ and 6 ⅝ inches equipped with helix plates anywhere from 8 to 36 inches in size. To learn more about the product, please refer to the technical data sheets.

The Kubota mini-tractor we use to install the piles is compact enough to reach tight and difficult to access areas, which means that our installers can easily set piles near pools or other existing structures. Also, since our tractor is equipped with lawn tires, it won’t damage your property. No excavation is necessary! Thanks to our machinery, screw pile installation requires much less work than that needed to pour traditional concrete foundations.

Moreover, there is no waiting period necessary after the work is done, which means you can begin building your patio or terrace as soon as the piles have been installed!

Our Piles

Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
