You’re thinking of installing a dock to facilitate access to the lake and water activities? Did you know that screw piles are an interesting solution for fixed docks since they ensure your structure’s stability under water?
The helix plate set at the bottom of the pile’s shaft solidly anchors the pile into the ground and makes it impervious to ground movements. Since they will be installed in water, our piles are eco‑friendly and are made of durable materials.
Quick and easy installation
The number, size and placement of the piles will depend on the type of structure and its weight. The type of soil will also impact on the choice of piles. Since your fixed dock is likely to be installed on boggy terrain or on loamy soil, the type of piles to be used are not the same as those used on firmer ground. Is it possible to install screw piles at the bottom of a river or a lake? Yes, and it’s easy! The screw piles are installed either directly from the shore or using a watercraft specially adapted to accommodate our specialized machinery. Moreover, our Kubota mini-tractor is equipped with lawn tires and will not damage your property on its way to the water’s edge, and it can even access very tight spots.
Moving and reusing screw piles
You have to move your dock? No problem! Our screw piles can be removed if need be. Thanks to our specialized equipment, we can remove your screw pile dock foundation and relocate it elsewhere if the need ever arises.

Our Piles
Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
