Carport

With our country’s cold and snowy winters, it’s essential that attached or detached car port foundations be able to resist frost and snow accumulations as well as ground movements associated with frost and thaw cycles.
To ensure your car port’s sturdiness and durability, screw piles are the best solution available.

Stability and solidity

Installed under the ground’s frost line for unequaled stability, screw pile foundations will resist frost and snow. The helix plate attached to the bottom of the pile solidly anchors it into the ground and prevents any displacement due to ground movements. If the area is paved, we can still install the piles, but we will have to dig small holes into the paving before we can do the work. Once the piles are in the ground, only a small patch up job will be required to restore your entry’s paving.

Quick and easy installation

The number, size and placement of the piles will depend on the type of structure and its weight. Pro Post Foundations offers the services of an in-house engineer to help precisely determine the number, size and type of piles to use according to the projected structure and the type of soil, since boggy terrain will require piles that are different from those used on firmer ground.

The Kubota mini-tractor used to install the piles is compact enough to reach tight and difficult to access areas, which means that our installers can easily set piles near pools or other existing structures. Also, since our tractor is equipped with lawn tires, it won’t damage your property. Note that the machinery required to install screw piles is much lighter than that necessary to build traditional concrete foundations.

You will be able to begin construction work as soon as the piles are in!

Our Piles

Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
