Staircase

A screw pile foundation is the best way to ensure the long term stability of your wooden or concrete staircase.
Frost can cause a concrete foundation to ride up, and it may not return to its original position, which could wreak havoc on your staircase.

Stability and solidity

In order to ensure your structure’s durability, our installer will use specialized equipment to drive the screw pile past the ground’s frost line. Firmly anchored into the ground by a helix plate at the bottom of the pile, your staircase will be impervious to ground movements caused by spring thaw. It will remain level and straight, and will not sink into the ground.

Quick and easy installation

The number, size and placement of the piles will depend on the type of structure and the soil’s composition. Our professionals will determine the right type of pile for your needs. Screw piles can be installed in any soil type and whatever the environmental constraints.

Pile installation requires much less machinery and work than traditional concrete foundations. No excavation required! Moreover, our Kubota mini-tractor is equipped with lawn tires that will not damage your property, contrary to the heavy machinery required for regular foundations. Our equipment is also capable of circulating and functioning in very tight spots, and our installers can easily install piles close to existing structures.

No additional waiting time required. You can start building your staircase as soon as the piles have been driven into the ground!

Our Piles

Similar to a giant screw, the piles are driven into the ground using specialized equipment and are anchored into place thanks to a helix plate situated at the bottom of the shaft. The piles can therefore securely support structures such as houses, patios, garden sheds, fences and much more. The piles can be used to support new or existent structures.
